The answer to these two questions should match, but often may not if the Mission Statement and Core Values are not shared with team members and patients. It is important for every team member to serve the patients in a manner that is consistent with the doctor’s vision. Therefore, the practice Mission Statement and Core Values should be created with the doctor’s vision in mind, since this should be the standard of care each team member strives to give patients every day.
