Jamie Atkins

OPERATIONS TRAVEL COACH

Jamie’s introduction to dentistry started early with her after-school job helping with administrative projects at the dental office where her mom worked. That early exposure stuck with her. She went on to work as a dental assistant in both general and orthodontic offices, but it didn’t take long to realize her real strength was on the administrative side of the practice.

Since 1996, she had been a scheduling coordinator, treatment planner, and insurance coordinator before moving into office management. Jamie was also a Dentrix software trainer. She was fortunate to join a growing pediatric practice as their Operations Manager. That practice was working with Julie Weir Consulting at the time, the very same consulting group that would later become LCP Coaching. Those processes laid the foundation for Jamie to help build and scale that small office into a thriving multi-location, multi-provider pediatric and orthodontic specialty group.

Jamie often says, “I’ve done the things,” easily grouping software conversions, successful hiring, human resources, cash flow optimization, and creating excellence in the patient experience all into one. With decades of dental industry experience and a genuine love for building systems that make teams stronger, Jamie joined LCP Coaching to bring that same operational rigor and people-first approach to LCP’s clients.

Jamie lives north of Seattle with Josh, her husband of 25 years, and their three sons, who proudly support the Seahawks. She even learned to play tackle football for a youth sports fundraiser! She loves to travel, and her two Great Danes eagerly await her return home after every adventure.

Finding the gaps, and the solutions, for what is holding an office back from achieving their goals is my passion. Being able to visit and help multiple dental teams is a true honor!” — Jamie Atkins

NICOLE SMALL

NICOLE SMALL

PRACTICE SUCCESS COACH

Nicole did not set out to build a career in the dental field; however, while managing dry cleaners, Nicole’s exceptional customer service and kindness caught the attention of a local pediatric dentist who requested her resume. Shortly after, Nicole was hired and began learning everything that contributes to the success of the admin team of a pediatric dental and orthodontic practice. Over the next sixteen years, she supported the team in creating outstanding patient experiences, billing, insurance, and eventually supporting the clinical team chairside.

When Nicole’s family relocated to Florida, she was hired as the practice administrator for a pediatric dental practice, where she participated in the LCP coaching program with her team. This visit coincided with Lilly’s birthday, and even though they had only recently met, Nicole and her family took Lilly to one of their favorite restaurants to celebrate.

Lilly immediately recognized the ownership mentality and experience that Nicole could provide LCP clients. When Nicole and her family relocated to her native New England, the opportunity for Nicole to join the LCP Team as a client success coach became a reality.

Nicole is originally from Massachusetts and loves cheering on the Boston Celtics. She enjoys reading and exploring new restaurants with her partner, Jay, and her two young children, Morgan and Cameron.

Nicole’s unofficial resume includes the fact she is a closet ‘sneakerhead’ and is always on the lookout for fun kicks to add to her collection.

”I’ve been blessed with many opportunities in my professional life, and working with LCP is one of the best. I am excited to bring my knowledge and experience to help support our clients on their journey to success.”Nicole Small

Toree Mahaffey

Executive Assistant

Toree grew up in a small town in central Pennsylvania, where she met and married her high school sweetheart. With a deep interest in personal and family relationships, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Pennsylvania State University in 2008.

After graduation, Toree began her career working in schools, supporting children with special needs from Pre-K through high school. In 2013, her husband’s career took their family to Texas, which they now proudly call home. Toree quickly embraced the warmer weather and loves spending time outdoors — especially near water. Whether it’s floating rivers, paddle-boarding, water parks, or swimming in their backyard pool, sunshine truly fuels her soul.

While raising their three children, Toree took on various part-time jobs and volunteer opportunities, but she eventually felt a strong desire to pursue something more. Though she had always loved working with children, she also found herself drawn to the dental field. Inspired by the positive experience she had with her orthodontist in high school, Toree wanted to bring that same joy and comfort to other children.

Once her youngest child started kindergarten, Toree returned to school to become a Registered Dental Assistant. Her career in dentistry focused on pediatrics and orthodontics, where she discovered her true passion as an Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator. With natural strengths in communication, organization, and scheduling, she also developed a deep appreciation for production goals, practice growth and team cohesiveness.

Ready for the next step in her journey, Toree was excited to join LCP Coaching as the Executive Assistant to Lilly and her dedicated team. She’s passionate about helping dental and orthodontic practices thrive and brings both heart and precision to every role she takes on.

“I’m excited to be part of a team that empowers practices to reach their full potential, and I’m ready to contribute my skills, energy, and passion to help others succeed.”Toree Mahaffey
